Take Our Kids To Work

Take Our Kids to Work Day is an annual career exploration event, held every November, where Grade 9, Senior 1 students across Canada spend the day in the life of a working professional.  

All students will be empowered to see the value they hold and power they possess in making decisions about their future. Through it all, the goal is to ignite students’ curiosity and open the door for them to see what is possible for their future.

Here you will find links to full day LIVE programming, as well as links to several videos.

You can also use the link below to start exploring your career possibilities.  There are three short quizzes to complete (Interests/Abilities/Work Activities) that will help generate ideas and conversations around your potential future pathways.




You can also take the time to prepare yourself further by completing the "Young Worker Readiness Certificate" online.  This course is required for any employee between the ages 13, 14 and 15.
