Manitoba Student Aid & National Student Loan Service Centre

​Manitoba Student Aid provides financial assistance for post-secondary studies in the form of loans, bursaries and grants for eligible students.

 

Manitoba Student Aid funding is supplemental and is not intended to replace your own resources or to cover the entire cost of your education. Applying for scholarships and bursaries is strongly recommended.

One Application – Two Loans

When you apply to Manitoba Student Aid, you become eligible for loans and grants, not only from the Manitoba Government but also from the Federal Government.​​​​

Interest rates:

Manitoba Student Loan: 0%

Canada Student Loan: 0%

NOTE: Deadline to apply and submit all required information for MSA funding is no later than 45 days before your period of study ends. MSA cannot release any funds after your period of study end date.

Some Spring courses run less than 45 days, so you need to submit your application as soon as possible. 

Processing of student loan applications, will be managed by Manitoba Student Aid while the loan disbursement and repayment of Manitoba student loans will be managed by the National Student Loans Service Centre.
